Since we believe that the health and well-being of the North American Alpaca is dependent on genetic diversity, it is our goal to continue to selectively breed our females to our herdsire, Dom Savone; as well as taking advantage of outside breedings to a variety of males. Our herd currently includes the diverse genetics of several well-known herd sires: 4 Peruvian Black Magic, The Silversmith, SA Emperado, SA Karrington, Pperuvian Timoteo, 3Peruvian Augusto, 3Peruvian Royal Fawn, AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat, Accoyo Grand Master, 3Peruvian El Rey, Highland Lochinvar, 5Peruvian Capuccino, 5Peruvian Black Ice, 5Peruvian Silverado, CPeruvian Jaxon, FDA Paladin, Wily Coyote, Strider of the Shire, 4Peruvian White Wizzard, 6Peruvian Dom Timbo, and our own Dom Savone.
One of the primary goals in our breeding program is to evaluate the strengths and the unique potential of our breeding females and to enhance these characteristics through breeding to appropriate herd sires. We are interested in breeding for excellent fleece characteristics, a variety of colors, and most importantly solid conformation with diverse genetics.
