Lady Skye is our first grey female out of our award winning herdsire,
Dom Savone. Her dam is a granddaughter of the Accoyo herdsire,
Pperuvian Timoteo, and her paternal grandsire is the well-known dark
silver grey herd sire, Dom Timbo. Skye has excellent conformation and a
good bite. Her fleece is consistent and has a wonderful handle. At the
Midwest Alpaca Jamboree and the Northern Illinois Alpaca Extravaganza,
both judges commented about Skye’s excellent body capacity, breadth of
chest and rib cage, which are so important for carrying crias.
In 2007 and 2008, Skye left our farm for an outside breeding and did not come home pregnant. In 2009, we bred Skye on our farm and she became pregnant. Unfortunately, Skye had a stillbirth.
